The Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation (HCCEF) is excited to celebrate 15 years of serving our local communities and residents by partnering with individuals and organizations to improve the quality of life throughout the county.

As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect back on all that has been accomplished and where we started. Since its creation in 2004, the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation has been a member of the State of Iowa County Endowment Fund Program. One of the focal points of this program is to establish an avenue for individuals to contribute for the current and future needs of their communities.

Fifteen years ago, our community leaders came together to create the foundation to serve the pressing needs and promising opportunities of our communities. Since 2004, HCCEF grant programs have provided more than $1.75 million to area nonprofits. In addition, the charitable funds created by individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits have distributed more than $1 million to causes they care about. The collective impact through HCCEF to Hardin County is $2.75 million in 15 years.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have worked alongside us. Our board members, past and present, who have guided and shaped us. Our nonprofit partners who work tirelessly each day to make a difference and who we are proud to serve and support. And our philanthropic donors who have provided us the opportunity to help shape their legacy of giving today and for generations to come. We applaud all that has been achieved together and look ahead with anticipation to the future.
