What We Do

The Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation seeks to raise the quality of life throughout Hardin County by fostering philanthropy, connecting donors to area needs and building community partnerships. Based on the American virtues of volunteerism and philanthropy, the Foundation fosters a legacy of support for the people of Hardin County by making grants to not-for-profit organizations working in the areas of arts and culture, community development, education, environment, health, and human services.
Since its inception, the Foundation has built its endowment assets to more than $3 million and awarded more than $1.4 million in scholarships and grants to nonprofit agencies serving the residents of Hardin County.

Our Mission

To promote charitable giving, to build permanent endowment funds for Hardin County, and to address a broad range of community issues through active leadership and grant-making.
