2025 Hardin County Arts and Culture Endowment Recipients

The Hardin County Arts and Culture Endowment was established in 2010, in partnership with
the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation (HCCEF). Thanks to the vision
and action of a group Hardin County citizens, this endowment ensures continuous support for the
arts, enriching our lives with inspired performances, engaged audiences, and vibrant
communities.
The endowment was created from the proceeds of the Simon Estes “Roots and Wings”
performance. This lasting source of income was designed to support performing arts and culture
in Hardin County for generations to come. HCCEF is dedicated to maintaining a thriving arts and
culture environment for both residents and visitors. This commitment enhances our quality of
life, attracts cultural tourism, and contributes to the economic vitality of Hardin County. Through
a shared desire and dedication to the arts, the endowment represents a collaborative effort to
create a more dynamic and creative community.
Annual grants from the Hardin County Arts and Culture Endowment empower residents to
access, participate in, and learn from high-quality, meaningful arts and culture programs. These
grants ensure that arts education and cultural experiences remain accessible and relevant,
inspiring future generations and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
